I saw something about these guys on the news a few weeks back. Seems like a taxi service without the monopoly licence plates. Seems a bit more expensive than uber, so I struggle to see how it will take off.
Also, the drivers are employees, and they don't own the cars, so I guess that's where the price difference comes in (as I suspect Uber drivers do not account fully for the costs they incur).
I'll take the free ride but I doubt these guys will last.
Yeah they're definitely a bit more expensive, but they don't have surge pricing, which really only means they'll be needed at night and on weekends.
Their target market is interesting, the features are better than Uber but what they failed to realise consumers only want to get from A to B at the lowest possible price.

Wow! I'd rather go with a company that offers their drivers a little more dignity. Can't say I've ever had a drunk taxi or uber driver.
