Bit of a noob here. Is this machine only good for long/short espresso or can use other capsules too such as latte/hot choc?
as long its nespresso capsule, then u can use this machine. the milk frother can be cold or hot. so, the answer is yes
There's no cappucino capsule per say, do an espresso coffee and add milk from the frother = cappucino or latte.
Concerning the hot choc, pour frothed milk and add choc powder, no choc capsule (cioccatino is coffee with chocolate essence)there is podista hot choc capsules
Or just milo + frothered milk :) my son loves it.
Or get the pixie for $20 more because it gets $70 cashback.

Because he said this model you will get $70 cashback from Nespresso.
So $249 - $100 - $70 = $79.
vs $199 - $100 - $40 = $59

@sauce2k: yeah they will make the same cup of coffee from the same pods except for this new model you get to change the "plates" with colours you like.

Yeah if Myer eBay sells the Nepresso pods would make good use of the $100 voucher as these pods never go on special anyway.
I tried those compatible pods from supermarket but finally have to go back to Nespresso.

I think since they offer coffee credit I think better go with that because their coffee are better than those compatible.

Should be Nespresso compatible capsules that you can find from supermarket but I found that nothing like the original Nespresso capsules so back to them now.
