    This isn't a bargain at all. The Dell 13 7000 costs $1400, and comes with an i7 6500u, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It's got the same-spec display, and also converts into a tablet, so combined with HP's muddy track record for laptop reliability, the Dell make so much more sense.

      You know not everything that gets posted on this site is/has to be a bargain, right?

      • It's called Oz"bargain" for a reason

      • -3

        It's not 'Ozdeal', it's Ozbargain. $1400 for an i5, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD is not a bargain in any way, shape, or form. This is strictly a 'deal', which belongs on a deal site.

          Right, so that would mean every deal that gets posted on this site has to be a bargain then?

        • @tranqme: Hmmm, actually you must be right. It's probably just called Ozbargain for shits and giggles. Very insightful.

          You have to be kidding me though. I really hope you're being sarcastic. If this site isn't for posting things that are strictly bargains, what is it for?

          @deanylev:

          Wow, you must be an interesting person if you think that everything is as it seems.

          Where in any list of rules does it say everything that gets submitted here has to be a bargain?

        • @tranqme: Oh no, it's just called common sense. A bargains site generally requires bargains to be posted to it, it's just a rule of thumb I guess.

        • -1

          @deanylev:

          Again, your common knowledge clearly isn't so common, as 80% of the deals that get posted on this site aren't exactly bargains.

        • @tranqme: Want to point me to one?

    • This machine can't be compared to the inspiron because the build quality of this is much better and the trackpad on this is rated above the inspiron .
      Above all battery life of this is around 9 hours real world usage while Dell inspiron returns 6 at the best

      HP spectre is in Premium category so compare it with Dell XPS

      HP equivalent of inspiring is Envy series

        I'll give you the first two things, but the battery life on the Dell is superb. I get around two straight full school days on the 2015 model and so does my friend with the 2016 model.

        A better trackpad and build quality doesn't really justify the price of this, the build is still rock solid on the Dell (plastic doesn't mean bad build quality) and the trackpad is average.

    I like how my comment is getting downvoted, yet the post isn't getting upvoted. People need to make up their damn minds.

  • So we just argue other brands in this? OK, I like thinkpads.
