I needed a new toilet and found this one at $249. Seemed ok but scanned at $198 at the checkout. Not sure if price error. Heaps in stock.

Standard fare with most plumbing products. I guess you could argue the defect did not relate to installation.
they asked for the installation invoice from a licensed plumber.
I was hanging for a shit so wasnt worth the argument.@captobvious:
real OzBargainers Sh!7 @ work and get paid for it.@Steptoe: haha classic
This deal aint crap
Really? I thought it was the shhhh…
I am flushed with excitement.
Is this deal to good toilet go?
it might be just me but i manage to fill up clog my bowl most mornings and need to poke my stool to get it to flush away properly. maybe i need a larger one with an XL bowl.
Too much info!
My plumber told me that the toilets at certain places … erm … require customers to use the brush almost every time you'd suspect was possible.
He then recommended some toilets at a particular shop. I found the shop had an online site where it was even cheaper than in store (if you don't mind picking up in Victoria).
Some good deals here

This dunny is an absolute nightmare.
The toilet seat fixing system is hopeless, I've replaced it twice already, and bunnings/mondella won't return my emails asking for advice.
As others suggest, it doesn't keep clean easily.
And unless you are willing to install rear valve inlet direct to the cistern, you'll not be able to stop eventual leaks easily.
Keep well away from it in my opinion.. especially for a rental place (all close-coupled prob not the best for rental situation)
I paid $75 brand new off gumtree.. still too much.
My dad told me about some specialised fixing system.. expanding doodad that may give more clamping action.. a big part of me hopes I crack the ceramic on the attempt.
(p.s thank you moocher for reopening comments so i could post this, thought it was important to warn my fellow ozbarginininians)
It's been that price for a while. Even dropped to $159 for few weeks about half year ago. Very good price for what you get. But bear in mind, any seal/flexible pipe leak at the bottom of the cistern means a complete removal.
