you bet…..
Also applies to shoestring, my favourite!
Anyone else find it odd that this reached the front page?
It's an okay price but not really a 'bargain' by any stretch of the imagination. Plus this product is one of those things that goes on special every few weeks, so not like the price is exceptional or anything…
Because this is not half price, not mentioned in the previous post.BTW,historical low price is $1.99 in Woolies.
Seems like it, pricehipster shows it often going on special
Its nearly 50% off, is a good product and goes on sale roughly once a month. I think its a bargain.
Because there steak cut beer battered chips are freakin' amazing.
So are the shoestring. I used to not like shoestring chips but I changed my mind when I tried these.
Cool. Will have to give them a try.
Ah McCain you've done it again.
You're welcome.
You can also just chop potatoes up put them in a bag with olive oil/salt (Masterfoods Cajun Seasoning is really nice too), shake bag, put in oven for 1/2 hr?? turn once and presto really nice chips that are a lot healthier.
Or I could just chuck these in the fryer and be on my way
Why is that "a lot healthier"?
Isnt processed and doesnt have bonus additives. The Beer Batter Chips have additive 450 linked to kidney stones - http://www.thetrustedtrolley.com.au/content/additive/potassi…
What you failed to state is that it's perfectly safe according to the page you linked to - except for certain people.
Having unspecified "additives" and not being "processed" whatever that means are not reasons for your method being significantly healthier.
Cheaper at Woolworths currently. All McCain chips are $3 per 1kg bag
Link? All I can see are 1kg fries for $3, so invalid neg.
I was there today.. all of them were
He/she is probably referring to the normal range https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/Search/Products?searchTer… which is $3 but it ain't beer batttered
Perfect for Philips air friers
