    Does UDEMY count?

Not even for free , for the airline that doesn't respect women
And the planes get stalled and delayed for comfort of one family

      Wut

    • For an airline that "doesn't respect women" they actually seem to be more proactive in this area than just about any other airline. I struggle to think of the number of times I have heard a cockpit announcement from a female captain or first officer in all of my years of flying — yet RB even has an all-female cockpit.

I've started using them quite a bit between here and South East Asia and think they are great for quality, comfort and price. I'm guessing your comment about "…delayed for comfort of one family…" is in reference to the Brunei royal family. I agree this would be frustrating as a passenger, but do you think Qantas would hesitate to hold a flight for Alan Joyce? It sounds like you have a serious chip on your shoulder. Either present some evidence to support your claims or leave your conjecture out of here.

The advertised promotion is great value for a full service airline with a very good safety rating.

  • Any other traveller feedback?

    • I flew Mel to London too, May last year. Good flights, no real time difference, with the two stops instead of one! I beg to differ.. Brunei airport, I took some $25 Brunei dollars with me, to get into the main part of the airport, for real coffee, a filthy rotten ciggie or two and there was free wifi there. $5 exit visa. Easy to get out and back in again. The main part is almost identical to Denpasar Bali airport, built by the same mob, me thinks! Flight back was cancelled, due to something that went wrong at Dubai airport (not our plane) and was automatically put on Cathay Pacific flight home! I'd fly Royal Brunei again.

I flew Royal Brunei from Melbourne to London and back in August last year. At this price it's great value. You just have to know what to expect. No alcohol on the plane. There is literally nothing to do at the layover airport, so do not expect Wifi, shopping or restaurants. It was comfortable on the plane. I would definitely fly with them again, and just bring more things to entertain myself during the layover.

  • how strict are STA on the student requirement?

  • I booked tickets to US through STA to America in February. They completely screwed me and my mates over, forgot to tell us the flights had been moved earlier so we arrived on scheduled time but missed our flight. To be fair, they were very apologetic and did book overnight accommodation nearby and got us a flight out the next morning. They also agreed to compensate us for any planned bookings etc. But definitely not worth the trouble, extra stress and we essentially lost a whole day overseas. We also had to go via a different airline which was a big annoyance given the long distance flight. Would not book via or recommend STA student travel ever again. Just my experience.

  • Are non-students eligible for these flights? Are is STA very strict with this requirement?
