You'd expect the easter eggs to go cheap starting on Monday…people usually buy them on Saturday for the easter egg hunt on Sunday, don't they?
Yeah usually but because WW Is doing so bad it would be a good idea to get those customers away from coles where they will spend bulk on other items while there. I changed title though :) We will know in the morning I guess

Yeah two conflicting dates, it would be a really smart if they did had a discount like that tomorrow. But I guess it makes sense it would be Monday.
I work for Woolworths, they go on 50% Monday. Currently 25% off for all Easter chocolate
I went to a woolworths yesterday arvo and there were no easter eggs left. Coles & costco were the same.
Maybe this discount extends to big w, as there were plenty of overpriced cadbury eggs there.
Even with 50% off I doubt they will be better value than regular chocolate. I was shocked at the RRP of easter eggs/bunnies this year it seemed higher than previous years
And the quality is way lower too.
And they all expire in June too…

they always expire in June! they seem to be fine to eat up until about december until they go a little funny tasting, but not dangerous

I went into big w last saturday and they had a one day special of 50% off the cadbury 20 pack crate of eggs - $6 and 50% off their cadbury 250g bunny for $3.75. I thought it was so odd that they had 50% off prior to easter! Then i walked into coles and they had the cadbury 75-100g bunny (can't remember the exact grams) for $1.85 - half price. I don't remember ever seeing Easter chocolates at 50% off prior to Easter, ever!
I remember last year a few places had them 50% off about 364 before Easter.
They just over-inflate the RRP, then hit it with 50% off to get your attention.
Wonder if all those fat women were out in force today at the egg hunts, having their kids bully the other's to get more eggs… so they can woof them down.
Strangely I saw this at my local store as well.
I didn't bite on anything because sometimes it can be 75% off after Easter.
Campbell's Cash & Carry in Perth had 60% off from Monday 21st. I just happened to be there as they were marking down stock. I went in for coffee cups, and came out with all my easter shopping.

Cmon guys everyone knows easter eggs are reduced easter monday. Just confuse your kids, stop them from talking to their friends and ban them from tv. It will be worth it when you buy your eggs for 50% off Monday morning.
Woolworths Beenleigh had totally run out of eggs this morning. Guess there will be no bargains there on Monday lol
Not at Woolworths Warwick (WA) either. I was in there getting a couple of things this morning and they've hardly got any Easter stock - they've amalgamated what is left on to a couple of small shelves, and there's not much at all. Same with Coles, mostly just empty boxes scattered along the shelves. So anyone heading in to either of those stores hoping for a bargain tomorrow will be very disappointed!
