Fyi i went to get rob and ryu and price match with big w @ $14 yesterday and one of them scanned at $12 any way. Sales guy was surprised but processed it OK

Well spotted. Visited the Karingal (Frankston) store yesterday and noticed a wide selection of these Amiibos for $12 also, whereas the cheapest I have seen them previously was $14.
Wide variety of items available, mostly the "Super Smash Brothers" variety. Falco, Fox etc. Just checked online before I saw your posting.
Ps. I have found that Target will price match toys also, so may be worthwhile trying them if you cannot find the ones you want from EB Games.
Target has Amiibo for $10, they also don't classify them as toys.
