    Isn't chop chop illegal ???

    • You're thinking of uncle chop chop…

  • Have you tried it? Any good? Saw it in store yesterday and decided to give it a miss, haven't had much luck with these kind of 'wonder tools' in the past.

So the question is : Are they clearing the decks for a new range of Curtis Stone, or are they clearing the decks for a new Curtis Stone?

  • What can this do that Nicer Dicer can't and the latter even more but wait there is more … a cookbook is thrown in as well.

    • probably does the same thing but is cheaper but better quality…

    My maths is off

    $12.50
    Was $25

Doesnt seem like 75% to me

    • $50 down to $25 then to $12.50 so 75% off the original price.

      • $50 wow hes Curtis Stone not Gold or Platinum

cant comment on quality of this model … but my experience with similar tools is that after ten or so uses the blades start getting blunt and they quickly go from 'chop chop' to 'squash squash'

For anyone that is looking for new saucepans, I picked up a "Nova" branded stainless steel 3 pack (14, 18 and 22cm I think) from Target on the weekend.
Price on the box was $59 (little round sticker from the factory), on the shelf it was $49 but it scanned as $24.50.

Absolute bargain considering the reasonable quality that they are. They are no Scanpan but are certainly a bargain at that price.

i picked up a 20cm and 28 cm from Aldi Burwood (Melbourne) the other day for $13 (their crofton range). So far, the thing is excellent

  • How much effort is required to say, chop the potatoes. That has been the issue with these sort of things in the past it takes a huge amount of pushing so you might as well get out the knife. They are usually good for soft vegetables like mushrooms, capsicum, etc but difficult for hard vegetables like potatoes, carrots, etc.
