Only a few Pioneer lines
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/gps-car-audio/Pioneer/oh… completely missed that. And I went over the list a few times to not look like a doofus. Thank you.
Nah I just added it in after looking in audio, it was kinda hidden so I added it to post :)
Does anyone know how the JBL speakers compare to similar products?
If you are referring to their bluetooth portable speaker range then I can vouch for them. I own JBL flip 3 and they are awesome little speakers, has some bass and also splash proof. Feel very solid and sound great, goes pretty loud too.
IMO they are probably one of the best, if not the best in the market for portable bluetooth.
How about the JBL Go here for $29, anyone know how that one compares to others in the price bracket? I notice it has up to 5 hrs play time, plus AUX input (similar specs to the Clip+).
The JBL Clip+ is considered to be the best you can get in it's market/price range.
bugger all inearphones sigh
I'm tossing up between these sound bars:
Sony HTNT3 400W 2.1ch Sound Bar $629.30 - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/soundbars/so…
Polk SB1 Omni Sound Bar $626.50 - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/soundbars/po…
Sony HT-GT1 2.1 $314.30 - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/soundbars/so…
Anyone have experience with these soundbars and can recommend any of them?
That's a pretty great price on both the Dali Zensor 1 and the Wharfedale Diamond 220, which are both extremely highly regarded as entry-level audiophile bookshelf speakers.
Zensors are average. The Diamond 220s are miles ahead.
Lol. I just went into a JB to have a quick listen and get one of these. Salesman had zero interest. Speakers not set up to listen to. I left disappointed.
Terrible service again at Helensvale.
If it makes you feel even better, even specialty hi-fi stores make you beg them for a demo. It's crap like this that makes me smile every time another retailer goes bust.
I had to come back to register my Neg vote for JB. I really wanted to get a stereo receiver and speakers under this deal. But JB HIFI (Helensvale) could not play any sound, through any speaker/amp combination, as their switching system was broke. WTF
I'm after this:
Bose SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless Headphones IIDoes anyone recall the last time JB discounted BOSE and whether it's likely to happen anytime soon. Or anywhere else to check for a discounted pair besides Dick Smith / Move. Unsure whether to buy grey imports or to wait for a discount at bose or jb :S
also wanting to know this
got them for $285 from jb i think in November last year. Myer did the sale on bose but got jb to beat it.
Any advice on Wharfedale Atlantic AT-500 vs the Pioneer SPFS52?

The first one
the cameras are still pretty darn expensive.
I was seriously about to commit to the $640 price tag for the Onkyo TX-SR444 from Bing Lee and get it couriered for an extra $100ish yesterday. Decided to wait for the next sale and suddenly JB has it for $619.50. Pick up two ceiling speakers + the receiver for $724.50. So lucky I waited.
Got a TDK Trek plus (A25) bluetooth speaker for $68 down from $129. Seemed to be the last one in store..
Anyone know if the Philips Fidelio B5 for $769.30 worth the price or better going for another option?
hi guys i really need help would JB HI FI do layby on a $1600 laptop that is on sale ?
Don't see why not if they do layby that is, you will prob have to ring you're local store and ask
I left a deposit ($1k) for a $2k TV. But that was only for 48 hours. If you want to layby at a sale price and finish paying it off after the sale has ended, you'll be looking at paying the full price instead. Go in and ask. We can't give you a definite answer.
Frak, I just ordered a Dell laptop from their Easter sale, and now it's $120 cheaper from JB. I just wrote an email asking for them to match the price or cancel the order, but I fear I've got buckleys…
From previous reportings; if they refuse to cancel the order, just decline the package when it arrives and dispute the transaction with your bank. Not sure on your financial situation, but $120 isn't really a lot of money that's worth making a fuss about.
Anyone gotten a Wharfedale Diamond SW150BAV ? Looks like a pretty good price for the low end of the line.
I have the previous model and have been happy with it as an entry subwoofer.
ITT: Ah, damn, the audio item I want isn't on sale/isn't cheap.
what do u want?
Ahh.. no car audio unfortunately.
