  How pervading is the rubber smell. These look good to stand on whilst preparing food in the kitchen. At the moment I use memory foam bathmats.

    These are an industrial mat, like any rubber product it will have a smell that gradually fades. We dont really recommend them in a residential application for the reason some people are sensitive with rubber.

    We dont have massive savings on them at the moment, what are you using the mat for and we may have a solution at an ozbargain price.

      Cafe kitchen and in front of a coffee machine is what I am considering currently. I am not a fan of the natural rubber mats in the kitchen as they quickly get un-cleanable and gross.

  I've been using this at my standing desk for over a year and it's held up very well (daily vacuuming from cleaners). The bubble design is pretty cool, helps remind me to move the feet every so often. Rubber smell wasn't overly strong, I chucked mine outside for a day or two and it was fine after that.
