Eggcellent 🐰
just in time for Easter :)
What do you have in mind doing with the Easter Bunnies?
@stellaaddicted:
Isn't that the way everyone opens their eggs.😃
Had anyone seen a chain saw on sale at Bunnings to match the Masters deal?
There is a promo at hasquavsna at the moment for their basic one at $269. Probably better then any available at Bunnings or masters
Anyone know how this compares to the Stanley Fatmax from Masters?
I'd recommend spending an extra $30 to get this saw with the aluminum base. https://sydneytools.com.au/makita-hs7600sp-1200w-185mm-7-1-4…
I know the warranty is only 1yr but I've used mine for at least 3 yrs with no problems.
Most real tool shops will have this saw for around $99, just don't buy the bunnings version with the steel base.
Why is an aluminium base better besides being a little lighter? I would think a steel base would be stronger and less susceptible to bending and deformation.
The aluminum base is larger. Makes a huge difference.
The aluminium base is also thicker and stronger. Steel bases bend and warp when dropped easier than the aluminium. Tightwod is on the money, I too would spend the extra but either way it's still a great deal.
Thats a serious CUT on the retail price. If i only SAW this price earlier i wouldn't be running around in CIRCLES.
SUBTLE
$99 at Bunnings Castle Hill.
Price matched to $69.
Powerpass discount. End price, $65.55
$99 @ Lidcombe
Price matched to $69I needed a circ saw urgently and thought I'd check ozbargain before I went out, lucky I did!
Dewalt isn't what it used to be but this is still a trade quality tool for $69.
Blade seems pretty good as well, probably worth $30 aloneWhy isn't dewalt what it used to be?
It is common knowledge in the construction industry that Dewalt has gone cheapo in the past 5 years or so.
I can't remember the last time I saw a Dewalt tool on site.are you referring to them being owned by B&D?
I Still see them being used on worksites.@BlitzR:
They've been owned by B&D for a long time, B&D used to be good as well.
I have an old B&D electric hammer drill from the 80's still going strong after years of abuse.Google around on American forums and you will see it spoken about. Dewalt started skimping on certain parts and have generally been going down hill.
Lots of plastic components, short lifespans…. they are not the same as they used to be.That said, still good enough for me to use at home!
Good deal
All gone in NSW. I contacted everywhere.
Good price. Is it across all Bunnies
