Seems like a decent deal. RRP is $300 so 50% off.
Seen @ Sony Kioask at Parra, not sure if it's available Syd/Aus wide

  • The AS20 is available for 150 bucks at all JB stores, was posted earlier here

      Yeah but $1 cheaper.

    • Any difference between AS20 and AS200V?

      • +1

Loads. The AS200V has much better specs.

        • Which specs are better?

        • +1

          @edfoo: AS20 only does MP4 28Mbps
AS200V does 50Mbps XAVC-S, has much better steadyshot, built-in GPS

        • @Thrift: Cheers.

Sure that's the AS200V at that price and not the AS20? If so that's a good price. Photo is blurry but camera on the left looks like the AS20 (grey) while the white one on the right looks like the AS200V.

    • I should have refreshed before posting. The image does have the $149 price tag with the AS20 (Sony's RRP is $299). The 200V has an RRP of $399.

      So it's $149 for the AS20.

  • Did you actually buy one BrewerHaHa? Your pic shows the $149 tag with the HDR-AS20, not the HDR-AS200V.

  • That's def the AS20 with the yellow mount plate

  • AS200V is the one on the right

    • Close, AS200V has a rear button. FDRX1000V is the Standard size 4k model with top mounted button.

    • Thanks
      I'll rephrase it
      AS200V isn't $149

  • Actually, the one on the right is the HDR-AZ1, it's the "mini" action cam that's half the height of the other ones.

    • Actually it's the FDRX1000V as it's the same size as the AS20 and has the top button. 4k as well.
The one on the right is most definitely a AS20, most recent black Sony action cam. For the price it's quite good, and the AS20 fixes the debilitating battery tray issue of the AS10 & 15.

      • Well that's nice but it's the AZ1, don't see 4k anywhere, logo is towards the back and it is smaller. You can just make out Full hd in the poster behind, which again shows the smaller AZ1.

      • The one on the right is most definitely a AS20

        left* >_<
