Not sure if it's nationwide. Good price for a FHD tv. Still tossing between this or the UHD at GG for $200 more.

FHD = smart buyer
Future proof with UHD
yep for when FTA networks and Foxtel start streaming in 4k res in 20 years time
Yes when the NBN is completed. :)
i got FTTP last week finally in my area, currently watching 4k youtube streams just for the hell of it :)
i dont care when the rest of the country gets it lol
Malcolm is that you?
Theres not gonna be any decent content for a while.
I have the 49lf6300 (100 hz version of this) which I picked up for $899 from DSE.
Purchased the magic remote which works a treat as a universal remote. WEB OS 2.0 is great also.
The 49" UHD for $200 more has the following features the $799 one does not:
- 100hz refresh rate
- quad core processor vs dual core
- WebOS 2.0 vs. WebOS 1.0
- 6 step upscaling & an additional picture mode (9 vs 8)
- 20W output (vs 10W) and two additional sound modes (total of 6)
- Time Machine feature (byo HDD)
Personally I think the UHD one is better value, especially considering it's at least $100-300+ (at HN & GG) than Bing Lee, Video Pro, Appliances Online etc.
Also, the UHD model is 45% off RRP, versus 39% for the cheaper FHD model.
☻ NOT DSE
Time Machine feature
Is this TV nuclear powered?
No this suckers electrical!
I think this was $699 during Christmas.

This was when the artist formally known as DSE was knowingly selling Gift Cards they were going to bounce.
Yea I paid for one and never got it.
Did you even get your money back?.
yea just took a while. It was via ebay/paypal so I wasnt too worried. It is my opinion that is why ebay terminated early the newyears eve discount promo. Ebay would have been liable for all of DS dodgey sales.
Hey guys ive been very resistant to LG since we have had lots of problems with the LG fridge and microwave, but tempted to consider this UHD TV. anyone had issues with their TV's, or should i hold off for a Samsung? Thanks in advance
I had a 40' LG plasma for years, only issue about 8 years in the powersupply started to go bad, replaced the powerboard and sold it to a friend, still chugging away.
Samsung smart TV?
Hope you have your tinfoil hat ready

LG fridge and microwave
Yeah, looking back combining those two probably wasn't the best idea!
Thanks Tim! ;)
I bought this TV a few months ago for just under $600 and I've been very happy with it so far. The webOS is pretty user friendly and the picture is great.
For those on the fence it was 699 just before Xmas.
