Warranty…until they close doors, or change hands
Did a dummy order and it's showing stock at stores in my area - Campbelltown, Liverpool - click and collect only - so as s26f84 said check your local stores
Out of stock
There will be local stock. Call stores I guess
Make sure you on the desktop site as well, the mobile site often shows the item as out of stock when it isn't.
That Tv Brand would not last long and " DSE 2.0 "may not honour any warranty as it happened pre 26/12/2015 . Thanks for posting but not worth handing over your precious money to DSE anymore .

and is distributed by Tempo Australia, who are quite large and handle many brands.
You are right in saying Dick Smith won't honour this if and when they finally go under. But you would still have recourse through Akai, assuming they are an independent company. So this deal is not a complete dud.
Not sure if this is a clearance line, but potential to buy in-store and take advantage of the free delivery and install:

http://www.dicksmith.com.au/tvs/akai-55-4k-led-lcd-tv-dsau-g…Isn't everything technically a clearance line at DSE now?
Just posted a deal for JB's 65" for $999 as well
Your deal is better as its from jbhifi ;)
and has wifi
is this any good?
LOL, 65" non-UHD - the pixels will be the size of my fist
You must have a very tiny fist.
That's (almost) what she said!
65" is probably the largest I'd go for Full HD, but it's far from blocky at a normal viewing distance.
As long as your at least 2mt away you wont see pixels.I can see pixels on my 4k 65" set at 2m away
better eyes than me :) I forget I'm getting older
It's a matter of perspective. All quality today beats the heck out of VHS I used as a kid. Even rubbish encoding.
I've never had perfect eyesight. Be glad you have yours. Even if your eyes are perfect, unfortunately, age leads to physiological changes. As you get older for example your night vision gets worse. Your eyes don't dilate as much. There's a small decline between age 15 and 40 but after 40 it does get harder. (Important if you're into Astronomy, not so much for buying TVs). But also you're more likely to get cataracts, glucoma etc. - some stuff is treatable, other stuff less so.
haha so true, im getting close to the 40s, its funny you mention Astronomy, astrophotography was one of my pass times :) one of the main programs i use is called pixinsight haha. The tech side of astro photography is a killer though even for me…
I did an Astronomy masters for fun and own 3 Dobs - 8, 10 and 12 inch. The 8 and 10 inch are very overdue for recoating the mirrors. Trying to do Astrophotography got me into terrestrial ("normal") photography when I realized the amount of specialized gear and time involved.
Haven't used pixinsight.
Much better value to spend the extra $200 on this when it comes out again: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/209684
HDMI 2.0 and UHD are usually features of $2,000+ TV's in the 65" category.wish there was one in WA. i am thinking to buy the jbhifi one though.
Now $799.20
stock everywhere too.
great for a man cave or something similar, cheap as
probably wouldnt buy anything from DSE in the first place….
