Harvey Norman are having a 20% off all lenovo computers today, and I think this is a nice work desktop with plenty of processing power for its price. Comes up at $331 with the Harvey Norman $25 off $150 voucher. Has an Intel Celeron G1840 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive.

It's a Haswell-based dual core chip running at 2.8Ghz. I reckon it'd be fine for even heavy web browsing with lots of windows, even with 4Gb RAM.
For those interested, it's a small and quiet PC that is capable of media (video, music, streaming) processing duties. Furthermore, the integrated graphics that come with it is entirely capable of 1080p steam home-streaming capabilities. Basically, if you don't want to create your own build, and you want something small, quiet and not have to "think about it", then its a decent media PC.
The Celeron G1840 is not to be confused as comparable to the other, cheaper, Celeron N2840s (for example). The G1840 is based on the Core architecture, so it's much faster. Can't find any specific info, but should also be upgradeable to other Core CPUs if required (based on thermal restraints).
Anyone know where I could get full spec, like how many empty drive bays there are? I've got a few spare HDDs, wouldnt mind making a stand alone plex server with those bad boys.

Not sure if this helps. Doesn't appear too expandable.
Cheers for that, I actually went into Harveys yesterday to take a physical look, really not much expansion at all. Possible to remove the disk drive and put a laptop hd in there, but other than that its packed to the rafters.
Build a cheap NAS as an alternative
Idunno if I'd quite say it was "plenty of processing power for its price" given it's literally the cheapest CPU on the market atm.
If this is literally just a machine for email/word/excel/videos, then yeah, it'll do the job, but even for heavy web browsing (lots of windows) I'd be hesitant to recommend it.
