I'm probably doing this all wrong as it's my first time, but I've had my eye on the Qantas store to pick up a Bose QC25 using points.
The current sale is at its lowest for the QC25 since Feb 2015 (49,000 points).
There are other Headphones and Audio products on sale too until 29th Feb 2016.
Good luck.

Is there a marketplace?
And in dark alleys.
"Hey man, you got any QP?"
Would you then use them on flights or flight upgrades, what provides the best conversion rate?
Hang on 1cent a FF point, round the world business class is 280,000 points or 280,000 cents = $2800. Where do I sign? Mr Sockpuppy, Mrs Sockpuppy and 2 sockpuppetes for 1.1million cents? $11K? Boy are we going to have a long holiday!
This works out to be approximately $282.55 given a $100 gift card from Myer is 17,250 points. If you can combine with a FEB birthday code, this works out even cheaper?
FEB birthday code?? please do tell! :)

Got mine the other day so can confirm this month it's BDAYFEB16 for 15% off the Qantas storeDo they check if your birthday is actually in Feb?
If you have a family member that has a birthday in Feb, u could transfer the points to them and claim it through them
Cheers… though it looks like i'd be better off selling my points. Got 40k
Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Over-Ear Headphones is 50,830 FF points (down from 63,970). With 15% off Birthday code it is 43,206 points ~$250.

Sorry, but I'm waiting for the Bose by Black headphones.
I am also waiting for triple black.
I tried Bose store to price match Sydney hifi store and came to know they are not avaliable their so can't price match.
I missed Myer offer which I am deeply regretting.
Thanks for posting, but if you haven't bought already, there'd be people that would buy your points (me included) for about $487.40 (1c/pt)
You could use that to purchase them on eBay for $330-$350.
But if you don't mind the hassle and only have Qantas points, then it's not bad :)
