The Lord of the Rings trilogy is cheap because it does not contain the extended editions of the movies.
that was an example.. not sure if I could sit through the extended versions of all three movies.. how long do they go, three lifetimes?

Two of the discs contain the film (you have to switch halfway through) and then the other 3 discs are packed full of extra content
It's roughly $69 at Amazon UK at the moment as well for those that prefer Amazon to Zavvi.
Great show… hope they make Eureka available on Blu-ray too (it's only available in Germany at the moment and it ain't cheap).

Was similar to the X-Files, good show if you are into that sort of thing. My dad watched the whole show as it aired and this is a good price for a box set.
