These are good quality cards, much better than slippery queens, and at a good price.
I got a pack of these from 1saleaday last year in their $5 mystery deals (which I will never fall for again). I ripped one of the cards to see just how "premium" they are, turns out it's just waxed paper, and they bend just like other cards. Not much different to the regular cards I have except it has a "linen" texture on the surface. Not worth it.
Totally agree… they're great for building a house of cards, but that's about it!
I got a pack of Cartamundi (don't know which style) and they were great quality and i was very suprised.
Ordered a pack to see, but i question sometimes the reduced price, was $20???
not worth the $3.99 postage. can get them for $2.00 at go-lo or any other crap bargain shop
I'm not sure about this particular card but i've bought their Casino Royale Playing card range before (made by the same manufacturer). It's a decent deck for light players, that is if you're not 100% particular about the card quality and performance. Each card is rather thick and it makes it harder to shuffle if you combine a few decks together. Other than that, i won't have any complaints. Afterall you can't expect much for the price you actually pay for (P&H).
As someone who works in a casino, I know that those claims of 'casino quality' are bogus. Also as an avid poker player who has hosted many games, in my experience, the only cards worth trusting for sustained use are KEM, Copag and if you can find them, Angel. All of these can be bought for < $30 for a 2-pack including shipping through ebay and are definitely worth the extra money. Paper and linen cards just can't compare to good plastic cards.
The quality of KEM is no match for Angel. Too bad I haven't been able to find Angel cards anywhere. If you know where I can buy them please let me know!
I would also like to recommend Fournier cards. These are made in Spain and their quality is great.
These card are definitely not "quality" card.
