The blower seems to be terrible based on reviews on productreviews.com.au. Masters has one blower on sale for $29, with good and bad reviews, I reckon that's the reason Bunnings reduces this one for.

    • they work ok if use as a vac mulcher due to limited power as a blower …….. think of it more as a garden vac than a blower.
the mulching ……. that is just there so you can get more into the bag before needing to clean the bag out.

I gave up on blowers, i had a petrol one before it was stolen …. use to blow the crap away from my property, neighbours would blow it back, few people seem to sweep up after using blower to collect into one spot, was like a game of pass the parcel……. was easier just to vacuum it up and bin it in the end.

I might get one of these as it would be great for the current courtyard I have, and although the broom makes more sense, this one mulches so less bags to transport through the house to get to bins, and it gets into tight spots without needing to move garden furniture.

Same for the cooler, pretty much bottom of the list in testing…

    • problem is the recommended unit costs $60 US. though it is nice to see someone tackle the issue so methodically.

      • When ALL the coleman coolers tested come near the bottom of the list, don't think it makes much of a difference..

  • I can confirm average performance of the Ozito Blower/Vac.

But, I also had access to a Ryobi model, which though second hand, was a better 'spec'd' unit, and the performance was largely the same.

Realistically, they're probably okay for a small courtyard or unit. That's not a knock on Ozito, it's just a cheap tool designed for pretty limited usage.

  • I wonder how usefull to bring cold and frozen shopping goods.

By the size I may need two. ?

better than the insulated bags they sell for $3.50 that have 2mm of insulation, or the insulated coolers the fishmonger sells for $10 …….. might gain you that value time between getting drumticks or cornetos home frozen vs thawed. squashes down so can leave in the car unlike an esky which permanently takes up space. 36 can size should take car of most shopping trips.

think it will be a trip to bunnings …… blower and a cooler.

  • thanks OP
