  • I wonder if their $399 Fat Bike will let me drive over cars in traffic. The ones that don't give way to me.

    • I have the same problem when I am skateboarding… car drivers just don't look for us.

  • possibly further $10 discount after signup to mailing list?

Plan to start road biking one day with my boy when he is a bit older and waiting for a bargain. But then comes the new 2016 road rules and fines for cyclists in NSW. Too scary - now I am not so sure. Perjaps stay on a mountain bike and ride on bicycle tracks.

    • Scary? The rules are designed to protect cyclists, aren't they?

  • true re keeping a minimum distance between car and bike.

most fines on bike have increased from $70+ to $400+.
as a hobby rider, i am so confused about the cyclist road rules and won't like to cope any fine.
The only occassion I would ride on the street is with the kids riding on footpath and across the roads at traffic light.
Now kid will turn teenage soon,
? does it mean we must not ride on footpath (unless designated) but honestly I won't feel safe to have my kid riding on the road yet. Wife will kill me if accident happens.
? can a cyclist cross the road like pedestrian or must one push the bike across the traffic light OR must a bike cross lanes and do a right turn like driving a car.

Would appreciate If someone can enlighten on the topic.
