Masters - 15% off All Laminate Flooring

140

15% off all their laminate boards, although on the website not all boards have been allocated the discount so i assume instore they will discount.

Slight concern at the quality but this particular board is coming in at under $13sqm

I'm in the market for 50sqm of laminate flooring and almost committed to the Embleton Design oak at $35sq when i found this deal.

We almost went with them for laminant floors, although decided on polished concrete. They have a good range at good prices. Much larger range than bunnings.

We've done most of our house in their Blackbutt laminate (got it during a 10% off) and it was easy to install and has held up well in our house with 6 kids.

So your 6 kids held up your blackbutt?

    • Thanks… I'm certainly interest in feedback on their boards… So far so good!

15% off is already too late, and it is only for flooring. Give us 20% off everything in-store and online, and you may be able to get some business.

Stop it with all the Master's bashing constantly, if they offered EVERYTHING the same as Bunnings then there would be no point to creating a new store. Master's in most cases offer a different range and alternative product selection to Bunnings, not just to avoid 'price matching/beating' wars but also to differentiate their product and service. For some simple minds, this is too complex to comprehend. I've recently built a house and I have made many more purchases through Masters than Bunnings whilst achieving a better outcome both financially and in the result I've managed to achieve. People don't like change, I welcome it.

Yes, some things in Masters are more expensive than Bunnings, but since when is the last time Bunnings has given a site-wide code for 20% off? 10% off or even 5% off?

Totally agree & if they do go under we'll be fully exposed to a proper shafting on prices at Bunnings.

I agree too. Much prefer Masters over Bunnings. Found them to have better prices and service, will miss them when they close down.

        • Closing down isn't for certain. As I've said in other forums, some Masters will operate independently.

        • @faceman54: Oh I agree, and some will get sold etc… But not much chance of them staying the same unless they all get sold as one company. Masters would have been profitable eventually, maybe someone else is happy to wait.

  • It says DIY but is it hard for someone with no experience? If so, anyone recommendations on an installer in Sydney?

It is very easy if you are willing to read and follow simple instructions before you charge in (amazing how many people do not), like leaving a gap around the edges.
Not a lot of tools or skill needed. A jigsaw and/or circular saw is good.

How do Masters products compare to the German-made Ikea Tundra? only $15/mˆ2 for that ( less $50 per $300 with the current voucher in WA/SA )

      • I'd love to know as well! Tossing up between Masters or the White Ikea laminate flooring at $15 per square mtr

      • Wat happens if the board's width is 19.5cm, and you need 4cm at the end of the room?
I assume you need use the jigsaw, as it is hard to maintain a straight cut.

Sorry for my crude drawing. Didnt know how to explain it properly/

        • Yes, jigsaw or sharp hand-saw. the Ikea ones come with decent instructions, IIRC.

  • Any current 10% codes around?

Skimmermilk I can't see anything under $23, I'd love to get that $13

    • Be mindful the price showing is for a box of laminates that equate to around 1.8 sq meters, thus bringing the square metre price to 13.

  • Do we need an underlay with these?
