    Apple A6 is a 32-bit package on package (PoP) system on a chip (SoC) designed by Apple Inc. that was introduced on September 12, 2012 at the launch of the iPhone 5.

    So no. The iPhone 5c is the iPhone 5, with a different price point and plasticky exterior. Apple didn't adopt 64 bit mobile until they introduced the A7 chip.

    To put things in perspective within the Apples though. I sold my iPhone 5 64GB for $350 (and it's a low price). If you only can get a second hand iPhone 5 16GB at $300 price point then the 5c sits at $270 is about right.

    Not that I'm saying it's the best bang for buck, more like the right price among Apple phones.
