My wife just placed an order for some melatonin for about $6 ($30 at a local pharmacy) and at the checkout it showed the item was priced at about $6. but the cart showed the price as just over $1 - She went through to the paypal confirmation screen and sure enough the total was about $7 (including the ~$6 shipping). The code was automatically applied to her cart… She says she added the item to her cart before signing in/creating the account if that makes any difference.

So basically if you want a single item that's fairly inexpensive, you can create a new account and get it for free (or some chump change) and just pay the shipping (which is very cheap IMHO). I believe shipping is fairly fast too, although YMMV.

      iHerb is trying to get people to use there code so they dont have to pay referral credit to others.

        I think the new rewards system backfired on iHerb… costing to much. Btw my rewards account has crashed several times. Last time the worst: no orders at all, while I was doing very well. Then suddenly nothing and especially no new customers. After they fixed it, still all my US and new customers are gone. Really strange… Anybody else experienced anything like this?

      I've often found that the stock I receive (from iherb) has an even longer expiry than what was written at the time of purchase, even by a year or two more.

      Having said that, you would still have to be prepared with what expiry date is written when purchasing.

      Is it discounted further because of the expiry date?
