  • How this is compared to something like EaseUS to-do backup?

    • +1

I tried using both for the purpose of cloning hdd to ssd, the easeustodo is more intuitive and user friendly. Not sure about other features.

    • Why someone negged a perfectly executed search?

      • +3

It has become custom to neg JV.

        • +4

Ain't that the truth. If jv comments on a breach of OzBargain rules, he usually gets negged. Honestly, he keeps the standard of OzBargain high by challenging posters that do half the job. While it's a popular past-time to take the mickey out of jv, i'm glad he's part of the community.

Minor clarification: I am referring to general posts when I talk about posters doing half the job. This post is worthwhile for newbies, etc. I also view tightarse as another OzBargain legend. Keep up the good job mate.

Oh yeah, don't deal with Groupon ;)

        • @DeWalt: It's his old mates from Whirlpool negging him. That place hasn't been the same since.

        • @Clear: It's his her old mates from Whirlpool negging him her. That place hasn't been the same since.

        • @tightarse: Are you sure it's not the wife?

  • I use AOMEI Backupper and Partition Assistant ( Free versions ).. single click backups, restores and OS migrations ( migration of system HDD's ) !!!

Found Paragon to be useful about 10 years ago.. more of bloatware now.

  • Is there any Disk Manager which will help me clone a FAT32 partition to ExFAT?

I by mistake formatted my old HDD to FAT32 for use in mac and windows when thinking that it was ExFAT. It was only recently I realized while trying to copy a file >4G. Recently bought a 4TB potable and trying to clone partitions, but want copied in ExFAT.

Tried EaseUs and AOMEI with no luck.

  • Old timers will probably remember a program called Partition magic from the 90s, that used to be the program to use for partition management operations. For some reason they stopped developing it though, and these type of programs need to be updated for new OSes, HDDs and partition types. Currently i am fond of Minitool Partition Wizard, since it used to be free of bloat and had a nice UI, though new versions seem to have QT4 bloatware added.
