Same as the previous deal from December, the Caffitaly S22 pod machine with integrated & detachable milk frother is back on special for $99. Comments in the previous thread are generally favourable, making this likely the cheapest machine in this category.

Here's a description from the manufacturer website.

I've used Caffitaly systems before and had no problem with the machine, but didn't enjoy the coffee so much, whereas the Nespresso Lattissima Plus produced an excellent cup, even from the Woolworths brand pods.

    There's another machine on special at Woolworth at the moment also. Wonder which would be the better choice out of the two.?

        Possibly Espressotoria Coffee Capsule Machine, but description is lousy. This machine most likely supports Espressotoria capsules which are not compatible with Caffitaly S22.

        Sadly it easier to search on Google than Woolworths shopping site.

    I was thinking of picking up a Cafitaly as I'm tired of being limited to Aldi with my current machine. But even Woolies seems to barely sell pods for their machines.

      NQR has a special on at the moment, 8 boxes of 10 for $12, making them 15c each. Expiry seems to be between Feb and April this year.

    Just picked up an S22 this afternoon. Pretty happy with the coffee, but be warned that there is no 'heat only' option for the milk, so each milk-based coffee will result in mostly-froth for the milk, regardless of whether you select latte or cappuccino options. Also, there is no setting for the level of froth of the milk, so if you don't like really frothy milk in your coffee, give this one a miss. Coffee tastes great, but by the time I'm finished drinking it, I'm left with a whole lot of froth in the cup.
