For less than $300 plus postage this I3 computer looks a steal
http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/hp-251-010a-desktop-computer-b…
The computer doesn't deliver to inner Melbourne? o.o
Doesn't seem to ship to anywhere!
Fantastic bargain if you could actually buy it?
Sony tvs are cheap!
Careful i see a lot of refurbs there..!
Thanks for the heads up. Got the KDL50w800c (http://www.sony.com.au/product/kdl-50w800c#BVRRWidgetID) for $850 shipped. Hopefully I'll also get my cashrewards!
dealsdirect have dismal customer service and looooooooong shipping times. Never again will I buy from them.
I have ordered probably 6 times, 5 times it was flawless and fast. One time it was an absolute NIGHTMARE… but, it was mostly the courier companies fault… &$#@(*#(@'s
Might have a go at ordering something again if I see a deal. Right now I can't think of anything I need. Maybe a new house away from the city.
I've ordered from them many times and never had a problem
They're not so bad, bought some over the years, nothing major.
Last wine order delivered quicklyThis laptop is definitely a bargain!
http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/toshiba-satellite-p70-a07t-lap…
after applying the coupon it's only around $710.
Was about to get it when I saw its a refurb.
Still a good price for a quad core i7, 16gb ram, hybrid HD and 2GB Graphics.
Even second hands with those specs go $800+ imo.
My samsung laptop was a refurb from deals direct. Nothing wrong with.
Plus Cashrewards, I think it's 8%
4% apparently, http://www.cashrewards.com.au/deals-direct
I have been considering this 36V cordless lawn mower for a while now. Getting hard to refuse at $149.
Looks like a deal if the mower is any good, but can't find any reviews, and esp not sure if the battery will last a cut in bigger yard
Petrol 3.5 HP lawn mower at Big W for $149
https://www.bigw.com.au/bigw-catalogues#view=catalogue&saleI…Petrol != electric.
Effort
Emissions
Noise
WeightNo, not at all. Some might say Petrol is better. More power. No charging. I was just providing an alternative option at the same price.
Batteries & chargers weaken/die long before a petrol engine will.
Electrics are often smaller circumference so take longer to mow.
Wear ear protection or headphones.
They're both on wheels.
And no electric I've seen mulches but maybe this does? If not = bags of grass to get rid of.Oh, and when they both die, the petrol one will often be repaired or repurposed by someone. The electrics are often plastic, so pointless for example to be used as a portable generator, or to push something around. And electric motors burn out too, though not before the batteries do, so no-one notices.
This garden shed is a bargain, $151.91 delivered for me, I looked at the same one in Masters the other day for $429.
http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/easyshed-skillion-roof-merino-…
did u see how it is set up at masters? did it just use bolts or screws.
add: just looked at the video, seems to need alot of extra tools rivet gun, 3.2mm drill bits etc
I installed a double door version at my inlaws a month ago, only tools required are a cordless drill and maybe a pair of pliers, all fixings you need to put in yourself are just self-tapping screws.
where do you enter the code??
edit: nvm. for those wondering, you need to checkout normally and not use the 'buy with masterpass' button.
checkout
To all those wondering, do not select 'buy with masterpass' but select the normal checkout.
Many of their products are horrible quality. I wouldn't buy there again lightly.
I bought 2 pieces of outdoor furniture, solid quality wood, during sales this time last year. Still going fantastic as you'd want. They do sell a lot of crap though but i find it pretty easy to differentiate.
I was interested in a setting with a table and two benches, and nearly bought it. Picture looked great, but the feedback was horrible. Can't always differentiate from the picture alone.
Yeah, definitely need feedback of other consumers.
Yeah, I used to be subscribed to DD for a long time. Never bought anything, because I rarely saw anything of quality, and when it was, a search engine quickly revealed it cheaper or the same price elsewhere with no postage cost. I also check aliexpress too, because will often find the same thing cheaper.

They are trying to get rid of stock. Not sure what the warranty process will be after. From what I know most, if not all staff have been laid off.
interesting read.
afaik if they are buying the business lock stock and barrel they will have to honour all warranties etc. The business is responsible for these and they are acquiring the entire business.
They are not buying the stock. They only bought the IP and customer databases.
I don't know where the line is drawn, but if they are buying the customer database they may still need to support them
Bought a few baby items - Couple of Grobags, steriliser, nursery linen and a nursing pillow. Really good prices on those items. Lowest prices I've ever seen on Grobags. Some 0.5tog ones selling for $9.99.
Got my order delivered yesterday 31 Dec. Impressive given the holiday period and amount of orders they would have received.
Just going through the checkout process and they are selling something called 'transit care' for 2.95 and advise that 'your item will be replaced or refunded if lost during delivery'. Surely they are fully responsible for making sure you get your product?
Its a stupid person tax?
If you dont receive the item you can either do a charge back on your CC, claim CC insurance or claim via paypal - and/or DD takes responsibility and refunds or send again.
Just bought this: http://m.dealsdirect.com.au/aestivo-hardwood-timber-ice-stor…
I have been watching them on and off for a year and they have never been less that about 120, so at 65 bucks each delivered I picked up 3 (I needed 2 or 3). By comparison the most similar item at Ikea is the same price but doesn't have an icebox and isn't made of hardwood.
may I ask, why not just use an esky? i guess to go with your outdoor furniture or something?
This is outdoor furniture. You can sit on this (it's a bench) . You can also keep your drinks in it, and you could keep anything else in it and know that even though it's outside it won't get wet/anything else
you didn't consider the double one with the storage box in the middle?
@CVonC: for some reason whem I clicked on it it appeared sold out (don't tell me there's another link with it in stock?) however I was just doing it out of curiosity, because the space I have can fit 3 singles or a double and a single, and I prefer have the flexibility of moving them around when I need to. How much as it going for? It was pretty much double whenever I have looked before
seems to be in stock for yeah more than douuble.. $144.50 before discount + $24.95 delivery
http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/aestivo-wooden-double-ice-cool…
@CVonC: yeah, 3 singles are beer IMO, you can shift the configuration, and only 2 of these have coolers, I prefer having a sealed unit in case the contents could corrode in the elements
Good discount but I can't find any electronics bargains not sold out.
Thank you. Bought a few hundred dollars worth of cupboards to line up in the garage. 2016 is the year to finally tidy up the garage!
Thanks OP. Great deal for people who may shop on DD.
Tried to find bargains on their discounted/hot price Clearance Bin minus 25% without luck myself.
Good luck hunting and share …
