the shipping was the thing stopping most people from pulling the trigger - glad that's fixed. Shop around though, I was about the pull the trigger on something and realised that Dan's price on a Champers was $30 cheaper than 1st Choice… had to find things which 'sorta' matched in price to make this worthwhile…
Agree, discount is just being eroded if you need to pay a premium to get it. I have actually found a few things where 1st Choice is cheaper than Dan's by $10-20 too, and will be getting those for the $100 deal.

Yeah I've been through the site, finding a whole bunch of interesting wines that basically (apart from probably being in stock in the one click and collect store somewhere in VIC) are so hard to source they're not available. In light of the target team member discount this morning, I have tried to use the same code "2778157821950" in the first choice liquor team member section on checkout as I assumed they are both part of Coles group and it actually takes a further 10% off the prices. Question is would this still work with the amex offer or would it be excluded as many do the "not valid for staff, family of staff, etc" clause. Nothing I could find said anything as such so was wondering if anyone else would be more knowledgeable? :)

It just worked for me. Purchased 1 carton of Pale Ale and 3 x Baileys Total was around $110 and delivery was free. I am located in Metropolitan SA.
Should add that when I applied the code the first time, before checking out it it tried to charge the delivery fee of around $13.00, I then went back to view cart, re applied the VIPCHAT and delivery was now free.

I ordered 4 case of corona and was quoted 27.80 for shipping. Try the code numerous times but unsuccessful. Add a bottle of Benfold red wine and The code works fine. Works out to be just over $35/case with that extra bottle of wine. My boozes are sorted for Christmas party

If you tried a blind tasting it would be hard to pick from LCPA. Although I'm not doing a side-by-side, I'm very familiar with LC. I was a local when they started, did the tour and had many straight from their taps.

And now I have to admit, the first was much better than the sixth. It seems the longer session doesn't flatter Steamrail. But I'd honestly say it's 80% as good as LCPA (which remains my favourite summer beer).
