If you get your hands on a coupon you can use it instore, on the back of the coupon it says you can also use it online with the above code (enter it into the staff discount section). I'm not sure if you could present the code without the coupon instore and get the discount.

Just find something useful to buy that is practical and serves a purpose. If it it doesn't then it probably is an impulse buy that you'll never use. e.g. I just spent $50 on bedding/manchester that I needed for my bedroom.
I do have a weakness for impulse dvds, games and electronic purchases though.

Its not a bug, in my armchair psychologist opinion its some psychological effect on the brain this impulse to buy because something is so cheap, and the act of buying it is more rewarding 'some' times than actually using it.
