Good price on the 50mm sigma…
But where's the cashback form ?Below only has Tamron lens, I assume it hasn't been updated ?
http://cameraelectronic.com.au/claimcashback.htmlWhy can't they just put a promotion code in the checkout to automatically reduce the price ?!?
This will make me jump on this right away.Cashback seems to be from the store themselves. I guess they make full revenue now, then less profit when they 'refund' cashbacks.
You have to call them before purchasing…
I'll take this Sigma plus $11, thanks

D'oh! pulled the trigger on a Sigma 20mm Art weeks ago :(
This is a family owned and operated store.
As a Perth local who has shopped at this store for over 15 years, I have to say that these guys are really good.
Also, they have price-matched any camera or lens I've requested (they recently price-matched the Nikon D3300 deal from Officeworks even though they knew if was sold out everywhere).
They'd need to price match as every lens (sony) I looked at was rec retail. No bargains even with the alleged cash back.
Yeah a lot is standard retail, but can you find the 50mm art for a better price? If not then I would consider it a bargain. Also the 'alleged' cash back is clearly marked for the lenses that qualify. It isn't all of them by the looks.
Maybe camerapro will have a post christmas sony sale
Grabbed the Sigma 24-105mm f/4 for $695 (after cashback). The cheapest I could find it here in Bris was $859 with Digidirect or $999 at Ted's. Also I just received an email saying it'll be leaving today. Thanks OP for the heads up.
Convoluted means for obtaining said cashback
