Hey OP, nice find, you might want to put prices in poat & at least 1 price in the title.

So it's more expensive? 2 negatives make a positive? -35% off?

  • I presume these prices are Au $.

When did PIA become based I the UK? I thought they were U.S. based.

    Prices are USD.

  • Wow, expensive then. I signed up to Torguard in Nov for $14.99 USD on a 6 monthly life time deal so not sure this is that much of a bargain.

Could be good for some though who are shipping their toe inn the vpn water for the first time.

  • PIA are currently having issues with their Windows client.

V46 is the latest stable release but it has IP leak issues. It can be downloaded here.

V47-53 have reported speed and installation issues.

  • It seems you can get a 12 month subscription for $ 41.48 via purchasing the subscription through the google play app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.privateint…

The list price is actually 39.95 USD which should be around $55 AUD however when you purchase it google checkout price comes up as $41.48 AUD for the 12 month subscription, this is much better than $38 for 6 months.

    Regards.

  • This deal is a much better deal if you intend to use them for a long time. (I've used them for years so I'm in this boat)

    • Not bad price for 24 months, but the 12 month purchase through the app still may be better value for some. Particularly for those who are using up telstra prepaid credit (billing option in google play) with credits accumulated from starter packs etc. obtained below market value, and as such the savings could be significantly greater when using this method.

    • Do you know if there is there a way for customers with existing accounts to (re-)sign up using this offer?

      • I'm not sure, but I doubt it.
