  • Good for people who don't want to invest in a 12 month card.

    • Normally I'd buy them twelve months at a time, but it ran out a bit close to Christmas this year.

  • they also have a pretty cheap 12 month xbox live

    gem

    • Gem:

A precious or semi-precious stone, especially when cut and polished or engraved.
"A pagoda embellished with precious gems"

      OR

      An outstanding person or thing.
"This architectural gem of a palace"

(In case you're wondering, no, I didn't neg you.)

      • I typed implying as in implying this is a gem (I don't think it's a great deal) but that's what it came up as and cbf editing it.

        • Fair enough. It covered my needs, and wasn't already a deal so I figured I'd share it.

  • Seems like their 6+1 month item is better value for money than this (since it's currently on special), but only by like 50c or something.

Will this stack with my current live membership?

    • Yep. All membership cards do.

      • Thank you :)

  • Good for people like me who only play during uni summer break haha.

  • Is this one of those places that wants your phone number or a copy of your driver's licence?

    • Yea, they require your phone number.

      • Screw that then. I'll pay a little more and have a little more privacy.
        thanks for the info!

Same reason I won't use them again, especially since it wasn't clear in the checkout process until after I paid that a phone number was required.

EDIT: This is the from their TOS

        • @chipstss:

Strange, as a first time buyer I was never subjected to either an ID Check or a SMS Verification. I wonder if it depends on your payment method? (I checked out using PayPal.
