    First Aid course is being offered by Western Sydney Tafe free of cost (fully subsidised by NSW Govt.)
    This is not a deal for Sydney siders.

    Edit: Student needs to buy 7th edition first aid book though, priced 23$

      Do you know if everyone is eligible for this free course? You may find that you have to be a TAFE student and/or must meet a certain criteria to receive the subsidies.

        No specific eligibility requirements - only need to be a permanent resident.
        My wife attended the course last week that's why I know. New students need to create student IDs etc. on their website which only takes couple of minutes and has no associated cost.

        It's not just First Aid course, there are many other courses currently offered by NSW Tafe free of cost to everyone.

          Just as an FYI the course on the above links is different to the one we are offering as it is tailored to people that work in a care setting EG childcare, aged care, disabled care etc.

          Edway Training does also offer the course HLTAID004 (not on Ozbargain), however, our course duration is 8 hours which is quite a bit shorter than the duration of the courses on the above links.

          I do see a a lot of value for those working in childcare, aged care etc though!
