ordered a pair during the melbourne promotionit came within 10 working days
the glasses were perfect (had the oakley case, warrenty card and also soft case)not much styles to choose form compared to their prescription frames. but still cheap.
Not many to pick from but great prices,
Chanel 5150 black only 150$, even if the girl friend hates it it would be the perfect gift for her or your friends and they did think you spent $500 on them.
The Gucci Polarised is also cheap only 90$ + delivery not sure where you can get brand name Polarised for under 100$. again gift if you hate it.
lol there are a pair of gucci that's 36 buks
proby fake, I have seen a gucci for $4 :)
oakley ones are below 100 bucks
thats not a bad price
however if ya can get to DFO at homebush
they sell those sunnies quite cheap tooWhich store in DFO?
Maybe the DFO at Melbourne may have the same store.nice.
Their contacts (normal price are cheaper than most retail outlets.
Ordered some Gucci glasses during their 'free glasses to Melbourne promo'. They aren't fake. Just run-out models which companies clear out.
i have to admit, my partner and i got some free gucci glasses during their free promo couple weeks ago. They were as fake as they come.
They were free, so i'm not one to complain. Only use it indoors anyway.Have you taken it into a Gucci store and checked for its authenticity?
I'm curious to know if you're sure they're fake? I ask because their website claim that the glasses are 100% authentic and you can call them to verify.
Does anyone know how can we check for authenticity? I've got a pair of sunglasses from them but I can't tell whether they are real.
could you take some detailed pictures of the glasses and post them on imageshack?
I doubt they sell fakes.
ClearlyContacts is not a small company.
http://cxa.marketwatch.com/tsx/en/market/quote.aspx?symbol=C…
listed on the TORONTO Stocks Exchange.
They have over 120 million revenue per year. I doubt any company would get that big by selling fakes.
But the Chanel I bought from them do not come with a certificate, and apparently the "Chanel" logo does not appear on both lenses. There's also a crack inside the case.
I see coastal contacts not clearly contacts.
from their site , about us page

I'll take my sunglasses into gucci over the weekend when i receive them on friday provided I am at home for the delivery and give you guys a heads up if the deal is still on by then.
everything they sell could not be fake — I'm not aware of any counterfeit contact lenses (although it's quite conceivable); possibly the sunglasses are fakes, but why would this company risk the legitimate side of their business (prescription lenses) with selling counterfeits.
also, the price of gucci/prada/chanel in retail stores varies wildly, not because of counterfeits but their rapid turnover of new styles combined with large profit margins — DJs/MYER/OPSM/boutiques work on 300-500% margin (aside from sales/promos) on sunglasses, while DFO/discounters like this website work on a 30-50% margin and resell superceded/factory returned items.the drawback with these of course, is you can't inspect the product before buying — comfort of everyday glasses is a critical factor, don't just think about style — if they fit too tightly around you nose or head, you will end up with headaches or worse. it's worth visiting a traditional retailer just to try a similar pair from the same manufacturer, to check the fit.
as for contact lenses — I've been fooled into paying exorbitant amount for gas permeables for many years, typical examples for the exact same pair: OPSM $308, VisionDirect $277, BudgetEyewear $210, ClearlyContacts $104 (+S&H). I wish I'd found it sooner.
of course, you still need to visit your local optician to check your script is current, but medicare pays them more than enough for that.
They don't do prescription sunglasses, and they don't have either clip-ons or the type of frame that sits over my regular glasses. The available sunglasses are great for posing at the beach and useless for driving (which is when I actually wear sunglasses).
Maybe this offer will be useful to others, but I'll pass this time around.
