10% off ticked price? YOu can usually bargain most ticket prices down below that anyways..
Agree. This is no bargain.
Not everyone is confident enough to haggle down prices and from my experience, 10% is about the average discount one can expect on this kind of gear with haggling. So if you can get the discount without having go back and forward between shops all day, sounds good to me.
10%… All you do is ask for a cheaper price and they will give a discount….. Dont need confidence…
However, its still 10%, and I guess it does benifit some people.. so no neg here..
only a bargain if the "ticketed price" is already at a discount and they dont mean RRP by "ticketed price"
and then get OW to match the discounted price from JB and get an extra 5% off =P
I was buying a camera tonight anyway… sweet! I'll ask them what their cheapest price is, and if they come down less than 10% i'll make them come down the full 10%. Sometimes cameras are on pretty thin margins anyway.
Actually come to think of it I think i'll take this into Harvey Norman and try and get them to beat it since they take amex (triple points!) or DSE (triple points + everyday rewards card points).

Good sale, always handy for getting a 10% and then getting OW to match it +5. Just have to wait until the ticket price of a netbook to come down a little more, looking to score one for less than 300.
Cool, I've got a laptop on order through DSE, hopefully they can price match when I go in to finalise the purchase and pick it up.
Yes, the same model of Acer laptop used to be $998 in the store and now becomes $1198. Now that's really "a good deal" after 10% off.
The JB guys won't be able to fool me anyway.
