        Except consumer law says I should only have to deal with the retailer, not the manufacturer? Or do you organise the service centre and they'll come pick it up off me?

    looks like the Onkyo distributor has a lot of stock that needs to be sold and is offering the discount price to all resellers: JB Hifi, Rio, Kogan. I imagine Harvey will have the same price within a few days.

    Has Onkyo sorted out their issues with overheating/cooling ? Had two previous models and both ran into issues in summer with cutouts and turning off intermittently. Changed to a Sony Receiver and never had any more issues.

      Still constant reports out there of failing HDMI ports. I don't go near them.

        Thats what I thought. Had a Pioneer before the 2 Onkyos and regret ever getting rid of it. I replaced the first Onkyo thinking the new model would have fixed the HDMI/overheating issues. Unfortunately it didn't. And Onkyo support was totally useless.
