can i use this to get a cheap 90 character boost?
i think u need to put new account in same name.
boost a toon to 90 using the wod char boost on the server u want
then ask blizzard to merge the 2 accounts?
im not 100% sure this works? does it?
just checked and u will still need to pay $25 char transfer so not worth it to save $20 us.

this would have come in handy just after the WoD release, when i purchased 5 of these for 5 accounts, botted them to 100 using a hunter in green gear. left them botting for 2 weeks farming BoE world drops and selling for massive amounts of gold. i think in 2 weeks i made about 4kk gold, and over 100 trades on player auctions i profited $3k in the first 2 weeks. I was massively undercutting the chinese i was bringing in that much gold.
ah that was a good christmas that year. i still remember struggling in the december heat, and buying a $900 portable air con thanks to WoW.

I just hit my first million last month thanks to mostly just garrison missions. Took about 10 months but now on 1.1m and climbing. Not sure what to buy except for game time but I hope they one day allow the purchase of character boosts with in-game gold. I'd definitely spend my gold on that.
what is required to play this game ?
Does it need to have the World of Warcraft to play or it just whole in one ?
The base game ($6.23) is required to play all the content up to level 90.
The expansion ($13.73) is required to play the current content (all the way up to level 100).
You require a constant Internet connection and a game subscription (first month free with base game, subscription comes from Game Time cards from retailers or recurring subscription. There is also an option of buying Game Time with in-game currency)
Haven't played in forever, but I still have my vanilla WoW. Does this mean I can get the current expansion and have access to all content between vanilla and WoD?
Log in with your account. I think a lot of people who have not played for a few expansions were given free upgrades to just before the most recent one (Warlords of Draenor) so you will probably only need WOD to be up to date.
Anyone with an existing account automatically has all expansions except WoD. No need to buy MoP or Cataclysm.

Have been waiting for this to go on sale, thought it would happen during blizzcon. Just need a second account to hold lockouts. (mount farming)
on about 3mill gold and subbed up to 2018 using tokens already, so will not need to pay for game time.
Now to figure out how RAF works.
For anyone worried about the subscription cost, you can pay for it with in game gold these days (around 30k) instead of real money. Takes hardly any effort to make that much gold in a month
