    Looks like you were lucky, playing around with freight I can get the remote for free but that is about it. No way to get it down to your price and no mention of limit 1 per customer. I tried both PC and APP.

    This was the best I could do.

        I just posted the link that shows this was a day long promotion from Amazon!!!!! It was $174.99 minus the remote which was FREE which effectively made it around $124.99 + $20 freight which comes to USD$144.99 or around AUD $202 which is what the OP paid.

        This was not a mistake.

      same…even though i don't need it. I've still got a crappy Ouya gathering dust somewhere, and I hardly used that except for XBMC and MAME.

        I have a pretty old HTPC in my bedroom that still works great but is getting a little slow running an older version of OpenELEC, for just over $200 this would have been the absolute perfect replacement for it.

    OP got a great deal thanks to what appears to be an Amazon glitch, whereby they "refund" the "free" remote, but they seemed to refund it off the non-remote price pack … if that makes sense to anyone, incl. me, it's amazing ;) unfortunately not a deal for anyone but the OP.

    Guys if you see the price changed on your device, choose the package with remote then go to check out anyway. It was happened to me too. I was going to pay almost 276aud, then the price changed when search it again but I still tried to check out

        Black Friday tomorrow in US. Amazon may be forced to lower the price for their all new Fire TV, so I will wait to see the deal. I will just ship to parcel-forwarding company in US FREE, then combine with other Black Friday purchase and ship to Australia in 1 discounted package.

    Yeah this is a shame I'm getting US$183, for $125 I would of bought it in a heartbeat. OP thanks for bringing this to our attention but I think your tittle and description could of used some work to make the deal more apparent.
