I have this. Took me 20 mins to put everything together. Very easy to setup, although, I should say that this system provides not much security because the siren is hooked up to the control panel via a headphone jack. If the siren goes off, all you need to do is unplug the siren and voila.. no more alarm. Or even better, unplug the control panel from power. To avoid this, you may need to hide the control panel in the ceiling or something and use the remote rather than the keypad.

Definitely not peace of mind as suggested.

  • Great deal being in rental can't use anything else as there are so many windows and doors in house i have picked these up cheap over time new,i purchased 3 of these and this be the forth so now i have all windows and doors covered yes maybe not ideal but better than nothibg, and yes keypad is hidden away.
Reason i purchased so many it was less for them than buying extra sensors same goes for this set, even better at this price.
Once finished renting it no longer needed then i just aell all the set.

    • Does it only support up to 8 sensors?

      • Your right only 8 zones crap and placed order and i already have 9 zones set when i come to think of it one of these will not work and no point in getting this if all zones already used up.

  • The price is not bad, the unit is rubbish by any mean. Have installed it at my inlaws place and it is anything but secure.

  • Canceled my order as already using more than the allowed zones the keypad used silly me using 10 but only can use 8?? So no point in getting this unless i wanted or prefered sensors than the door sensors, thought this be great extra sensors to cover a couple of places but im already over lol
