Microwaved bacon is an offence to all pigs.
Who remembers when they use to have streaky bacon…. i do - i have never got the new short cut type of bacon since i tasted it on my chicken and bacon ranch for the first time and went WTF is this!…. long story short i emailed and hassled subway that it was false advertising since the menu picture showed the streaky bacon, lots of emails back and forth and me not letting up on the claim, i ended up getting a $50 Via debit card - all i asked for was money back too.
My store does this as well (Brisbane CBD) for $5.95 so may not be NSW only?

I rate their breakie subs personally, whats not to like? Fresh bread, cheese, they make the egg there, you can add any salads and sauces you want.. have no idea why they dont do hashbrowns - how long would they take in their turbo ovens?
Do they manufacture hash browns at the moment?
If you call 'making the egg there' taking it out from the freezer and putting it in the microwave then yes, they make the egg there.
I'm sure Subway in Melbourne CBD offers similar meals(not exactly same, but very similar) as the competition is really stiff
6 inch is a bit too short, but less than a dollar per inch is still a bargain.
It's not a bad deal, but the breakfast sub is bad enough to make it a no deal for me.
