Pretty sure this is for purchasing $250+ worth of Gift Card, and not for using gift card.
So you get effectively an 8% bonus for spending $250 on some gift card. I assume it is not the Westfield one but I can but like a Big W gift card and then goto the concierge and get a $20 Westfield one for free.
If you have to buy the Westfield gift card the. There will be a $1.50 card fee and possibly a CC transaction fee as well.

Just looked at the link. I suspect it is a Westfield gift card so be prepared for the additional $1.50 charge. Your can use the Westfield gift cards to buy regular Big W type cards after but not sure if it worth the effort just to save 8%
Yep it's only Westfield gift cards. I guess if you know you're going to spend that much at Westfield then it's kind of a little bonus :)
AFAIK at Westfields in NSW, Westfield GCs can be used at Woolies (but not Coles) for anyone interested. That's pretty handy.
The deal seems to be only VIC Westfields though :( but I guess you can use the gift cards at all Westfield centres :)
I was more thinking if there's anyone thinking of buying it and then using it in NSW (for anyone that may travel frequently between the two states)
FYI this deal seems to be only available at Doncaster Westfield. I went to Knox yesterday and concierge there is not aware of this offer. A quick search on Westfield website also suggests it is a centre specific offer.
