      You can also change the payment for any trip/delivery in the past 30 days from credit card to Uber gift card.

        Yeah this is exactly what I'm trying to do. I paid with a card, but when i tried to change the payment method now, it constantly gives me an error. The ride was last week. Does anybody know how to deal with this? I've already tried contacting Uber support, but its just a useless chatbot.

          For a trip it is easiest in the Uber app. For a delivery it is easiest in the Uber Eats app.

          Uber (Eats) app > Activity > “Destination, Date, Cost” > Receipt > Switch Payment Method. Fill out the support form.

      that's randomly flagged by Card.Gift "enhanced" security check, no reason.
      if using same card / detail to buy again, it would probably succeed.
      better to pay through paypal mostly should be ok.
