I know I know, Ozbargainers don't like paying for popcorn, or batteries other than Eneloops, so I don't expect this to garner huge votes :P

What do batteries have to do with Popcorn? What marketing genius came up with this?

    • Yes it seems like incredibly strange cross marketing .

It's the sound that Duracell batteries make when you accidentally try and charge them in your Eneloop charger.

  • What is Duracell again…
    Regards,
    Mr Eneloop

Free popcorn at Hoyts?????? I love salty food but their popcorn is so salty that I have organ failure after watching a movie…

That's so they can get you to buy a 2 litre cup of coke with the popcorn…

      • And then you drink so much you have to leave to go to the toilet, missing part of the movie, so you should buy another ticket to see it again in the cinema.

  • I'm so aware financially and dietary wise (read cheap) that I just make popcorn for the kids and take it in.

As for the deal it seems to be more hassle than it is worth for some popcorn that costs a few cents to make at home :).

    • Hot popcorn >> Cold popcorn

      Just sayin :)

  • Free popcorn at the movies?! These days that's like a $20 or so saving!
