I honestly didnt check … but TID is pretty well known and with a $100 excess it suits my needs. Standard excess here is $200. Agree that it may not be directly comparable but suspect CBA would just be taking a cut of someone else underwriting the insurance in this case which ups the cost slightly

Expensive , medibank TI is cheaper (extra cheap for member) and better
I'd rather swallow razor blades than deal with Commonwealth Insurance ever again…. never claimed in my life and had a hot water system die on me and make a mess in an investment property, took me 6 months or more to get that sorted, and got half…. a long time customer. Don't even get me started with their Discharge team…
you used there free complimentary insurance? What happened please….
Was their (overpriced )home insurance… was a straight forward simple claim that took many many months, have never claimed anything in my life, I cancelled immediately after that. There car insurance is horribly overpriced too.
Did a quote for a USA trip for 8 days and about $20 more expensive than other similar quotes (travel insurance direct) with the discount.
