D-Stunner Preworkout Powder Two (2) Tubs for $78.18 @ iHerb (Delivered)

50

For those of us that regularly use pre-workout supplements its worth noting that the renowned D-Stunner from Betancourt is becoming harder and harder to find.
Thankfully iHerb still have both Fruit Punch and Grape flavours in stock with the later reminding me of my favourite gatorade.

If you haven't heard of D-Stunner or are new to the whole supplements game then perhaps this one may be for you depending on your needs.

This powerful mix of ingredients packs a serious punch in terms of both focus and pump!
D-Stunner is potent in terms of the combination of stimulants and some have compared it to older recipes like that of Jack3D back in the day. Perhaps someone would like to chime in on their own experiences?

It needs to be said that the scoop size included is larger than a standard serve so please do be warned!!
The use of micro-scales is recommended to gauge your tolerance and to get the most out of this product.

The best deal can be found when two (2) tubs are purchased at once due to the inclusion of free shipping and an additional 5% discount for a larger purchase, total $78.18.

Keep in mind that by adding in the referral code will give new customers an additional $10 USD off ($13.84) which will bring the price down to $64.34 for both tubs delivered!

It's worth mentioning that iHerb are also currently running an additional 10% off promotion for products made by Optimum Nutrition, Muscle Pharm and a few other big name producers. Here is a link to get you up to speed: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/214817

Delivery is free for orders over $55.35 or charged at a reasonable flat rate of $5.53 for smaller purchases.

  • Any night time crashes with this?

    • The short answer is no, this product (which I personally use) is known for giving an extended effect without the notorious crash.

      The long answer?

There are too many possible variables in the equation but with most stimulant products you will need to seriously consider taking not more than the recommended dose till you can gauge your tolerance.

Using micro-scales to check my serving sizes gives me an informed decision each time I use a supplement product. For what may be an extra $20 outlay they will soon pay for themselves by ensuring you not unwittingly using more of something you may not necessarily need.

Obviously if you take more than the recommended dose the effects will be more pronounced which will in turn increase your chances of crashing.

  • Interesting read about Theobromine aka 3,7-Dimethylpurine-2,6-Dione , one of the active ingredients in this which makes it quite dangerous if you have a weak heart or if you normally have low blood pressure.

Its also a concern if you do cardio before/ after weight training. The natural increase in heart rate after physical activity + fluid loss via natural sweating combined with the Diuretic, Heart stimulant effect and vasodilation effect of this compound could be catastrophic.

    • In modern medicine, theobromine is used as a vasodilator (a blood vessel widener), a diuretic (urination aid), and heart stimulant.[1]
    • theobromine has been used to treat high blood pressure
    • Theobromine stimulates the heart to a greater degree.[39]
    • While theobromine is not as addictive, it has been cited as possibly causing addiction to chocolate.[40]
    • A study conducted in Utah between 1983 and 1986, and published in 1993, showed a possible association between theobromine and an increased risk of prostate cancer in older men.[46] This association was not found to be linear for aggressive tumors.[46] The association may be spurious, but is plausible.[46] Prenatal and infant exposure to theobromine appeared possibly associated with hypospadias and testicular cancer in one population study.[47]
    • As with caffeine, theobromine can cause sleeplessness, tremors, restlessness, anxiety, as well as contribute to increased production of urine.[45] Additional side effects include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and withdrawal headaches.
    • Theobromine is known to induce gene mutations in lower eukaryotes and bacteria. In 1991 and 1997, research by the International Agency for Research on Cancer had shown that genetic mutations occurred in higher eukaryotic cells, specifically cultured mammalian cells. Despite this, theobromine is still listed as safe for human consumption due to inadequate evidence of carcinogenicity.[51]

Your post wih Arnold Iron Pump https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/214540

Should also contain similar warnings as these are listed on their pack

Do not use this product if you are at risk or are being treated for any medical condition including, but not limited to: high or low blood pressure; cardiac arrhythmia; stroke; heart, liver, kidney or thyroid disease; seizure disorder; psychiatric disease; diabetes; difficulty urinating due to prostate enlargement or if you are taking a MAO inhibitor.

Arnold includes choline bitarate which webmd says..

There is some concern that increasing dietary choline intake might increase the risk of cancer of the colon and rectum. One study found that women eating a diet that contains a lot of choline have an increased the risk of colon cancer. However, more research is still needed to determine the effects of diet on colon cancer.

So be consistent with your web warnings and post the same in your iHerb postings if you are genuinely concerned about the health of ozbargainers
