In 2015, The Digital Show (16-18 October 2015) will feature:
General Photography, Professional Photography & Digital Lifestyle
The Piazza: A showcase for creativity in both print & digital & video
The APPAs – The best of the best in professional photography & video
The Inspiration Theatre – A hands-on educational area – 4 sessions on each of the 3 days
Four Creative Learning Centres with 3 hands-on sessions on each of the 3 days – four topics – Creative Macro; Creative Portraiture; Creative Food and Creative Printing
Thousands of square metres of exhibition space
And much more…
In the intervening year, The Digital Playground, a smaller ‘professional’ based show is held concurrently with the Australian Professional Photography Awards (annual photography judging etc) and is mainly focused on the professional photographer and the high achieving enthusiast. It runs for 3 days as usual, with 3 full days of speakers/education, the APPA’s judging and a smaller exhibition area.
Has anyone been to this show and can comment? Is the entrance fee worth it or are we paying to access a showroom essentially.
