You mean like padding? No I haven't. It's not doing any damage to my cans so yeah.
Yeah it would definitely put a "dent" in the 1 spot of your headphone band cushion.. I did it to a cheaper set of mine and can't imagine doing it to my precious.
Probably can do some DIY with carboad rolls and/or electrical tape to widen the hook bit?if your headphone head band part is made from soft padded leather type, then yes need padding on the stand.

i put my headphones on my desk.Some people have headphones worth more than their desk. A $20 stand is a good value investment to protect valuable headphones.
