woops double post
btw it starts at 2 PM, at Rod Laver. Kids under 12 are free.
The play will be mixed doubles matches, with pairings of the star players..
CHECK HERE: for more info: http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/news/articles/2010-01-16…
These are the players: Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters, Serena Williams and Sam Stosur, Leyton Hewitt
Stosur and Hewitt ain't star players… LOL i wonder if they will show this on crappy channel 7's coverage of the Australian Open.
hahaha agreed, but i do think hewitt could have beaten bagdatis….:(
i love it when hewitt loses
I know it's for charity and this is a bargain site, but those tickets are too cheap! Like it is less than the price of movie!
They could raise the ticket price to $25, still be a great deal to see star players, and they could make more money for Haiti. It would still be a bargain.
It's $10 MINIMUM … so if you want to pay $25 or donate as much as you like - you can.
BTW, the numbers don't work out. There's 5 guys and 3 girls, so how is it going to be mixed doubles? …… Maybe Hewitt will be the "girl" for a day.
nah that would be imba,
I'm pretty sure Clijsters, Serena Williams and Sam Stosur would smash him
Great initiative!
Guess Hewitt and Stosur is just to bring on the ozzie spirit :)
there was only 6 players involved but then the two aussies wanted to join. They were never invited coz they suck and so they beged roger to include them
ouch
but true
****ing kids get to go in free >:(

Crappy video of the line at 9.15am - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTsc_Ypm9Rk
Got there at 8.50am, got tickets at 10.30am, apparently there was no queue and 6 ticket sellers at Rod Laver. Only 2 ticket sellers and lots of people at Fed Square.

the show was awesome value for money, players had headsets so that everyone could hear them chatting.
had a glimpse of the ticket booth ot rod laver arena at 6am, no one in sight until around 8am haha
but the queue to get in at around 1:30 was damn long.
The show was hilarious! Luv it!
Wish I could've gone, still voting up the awesome deal and win win factor ;)

i thinks there will be thousands and thousands of people trying to get in. but at the end of the day this is a bargain and is practically a freebie, seeing the money is donated to a worthy cause.
