Why you giving us a scare.VD is another 5 months away. Lucky you get away with flowers.
I'm sending to my man's work for our anniversary. These are going to be his first flowers. :D
If they dont sell this weekend, will they be a further 20% off?
They will not be reduced any further than this and we can only sell a limited amount at this price.
But surely there should be a discount when the petals fall off… :)
it becomes expensive pot pourri
I ordered the last time this deal was offered, and the response from She Who Must Be Obeyed was "What? Only twelve?!"! :-)
She was joking, of course… well, mostly joking… at least I think she was joking! She was joking, right?
This is, of course, my fault because (1) I set her expectations higher in the past, and (2) I'm a man!
OP, will you please consider a deal on two dozen roses in the future! Thanks! :-)
Typical male. Why not just buy 2 boxes - 12X2 =24
Simple!!
Understand the woman-folk, you do not!
Send her one dozen a day for 1 week!
I sent her Little Flowers every day for ten days while I was overseas, once. Oh boy, I was in the good books for a long while after that! :-)
I dont understand the idea of giving flowers/roses. After couple of weeks they ended in the trash. Why not buy something more useful using the $60 that at least last more! like printed canvas of your love or something else.
And I keep asking why girls dont like me :/
Because most people would rather spend $59.95 than effort.
It's just one of those unexplainable illogical rituals that the human race partakes in.
My love is like a red red rose.
In 2 weeks it will have wilted and faded and start to smell. You have much to learn, grasshopper! :-)
I know that I can go to the Sydney Flower Market any day of the week and buy the same dozen red roses featured in this deal for around ten to fifteen bucks. As an OzBargainer, this seems like a far better option. It's not, though. Each time I'm in the area and offer to pick up some roses from the market, she says "no, thanks".
She doesn't want the dozen red roses.
She wants the dozen red roses delivered to her workplace where everyone she works with can see that she's loved. You're not buying $60 worth of red roses, you're buying a $60 event in which she gets to feel special. She gets a whole day's worth of attention; friendly teasing and questions about who the "secret admirer" might be and when the wedding is gonna be (and, of course, the inevitable "what did he do wrong this time?"!). She loves that!
Here endeth the lesson!
The other important lesson is: don't send flowers when you did something wrong.
Thanks OP. Valentine's Day flowers sorted.
