  This car charger is certainly short. It disappears into the socket, and I have to use the USB cable to rotate it, get it to move out enough, to pull it out. The way my cig. socket is designed, I have to make sure I insert it in just the right spot to begin with, otherwise rotating it makes it catch on the inside of the socket, 'locking' it in place (not really locking, but difficult to get out - it can't turn then, and is already flush with the socket).

  The one with the two USB sockets appears to be a little longer. Wish I'd waited for that one to come on sale. But of course, had no way of knowing the above until seeing it person, LOL.

    Actually there are some dimensions which you can use to work out roughly how far it sticks out.

    Personally I wanted a small one since it allows me to leave it in but close the lid in my car after removing the USB cable of course. I got mine today although was at the post office on Friday.

    The two socket one does stick out quite a bit further and has a larger diameter section where the sockets are.

    Mine arrived really quickly.
    However I then purchased this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/213343 five days later and haven't received it still.

    Edit: Just checked my account on their website and I have a tracking number for the 5-port charger. It shows they only shipped it out on October 28, that explains why I still haven't seen it.
